A FAMILY LEGACY

Don Paco Lopez Panaderia is a 3rd Generation Mexican bakery built upon tradition and years of baking. Our bakery started in 1932 in a small village called Chila de las Flores in Puebla, Mexico. Angel Lopez is the father of Francisco Lopez (often referred as Don Paco) who brought his family's tradition and recipes of Mexican bread to New York. Don Paco immigrated to the United States in 1976 and was able to open his own bakery on June 29, 1991 in Sunset Park, a Brooklyn neighborhood rich in community.

His wife, who over 65 years of marriage, has formed a great and hard-working family dedicated to the artisanal craft of Mexican bread

Francisco and Leonila Lopez, at 90 years old and 86 respectively, continue to wait every day for the bread to come out fresh and reach each of the families who lovingly hope to eat a bite of bread that reminds them of their beautiful Mexico or that they simply want to explore to get to know the authentic Mexican flavor.

He has since expanded, continuing the tradition with his children, opening a second bakery in Spanish Harlem on December 12, 2000 and a third bakery in Westbury Long Island on June 2, 2024.

Don Paco Lopez Bakery prides themselves in delivering authentic delicious Mexican pastry bread and sharing our tradition and culture. Our best selling bread, Conchas, a sweet bread shaped in the form of a sea shell has been featured in The New York Times ,The Today Show, ABC localish amongst others.
